The best October for solar power production since our records starting in August 2009 even though the maximum produced was lower than in other years.

  • Maximum kWh per day (actual / per kW installed) = 19.905 kWh / 6.77 kWh
  • Average kWh day (actual / per kW installed) = 17.611 kWh / 5.99 kWh
  • Total kWh produced (actual / per kW installed) = 545.9 kWh / 185.7 kWh

Another good solar power production month although not as good as other Septembers due in part to the early heatwave.

April this year was fairly typical with production in line with 2010 and 2011. The days continue to shorten which impacts production.

  • Maximum kWh per day (actual / per kW installed) = 17.17 kWh / 5.84 kWh
  • Average kWh day (actual / per kW installed) = 12.287 kWh / 4.179 kWh

The SunWorks - March 2013 Production

A reasonable month for Solar Power on the Sunshine Coast with almost the same amount of power produced this year as 2012. The shortening days will have an impact on power producton however falling daytime temperatures will help offset this as solar panels perform much better on cool sunny days.

The SunWorks - Febuary 2013 Production

Not a great month for Solar Power on the Sunshine Coast with what felt like non stop rain for the entire month however as you can see from the chart above both February 2012 and 2010 were actually worse - 20th February 2012 retains the title for the least amount of power produced.

Despite the rain generated by ex cyclone Oswald January was the still a good month for production. On a kWh per kW installed basis this was the best January production our system has seen marginally ahead of Jan 2010, this follows the trend of the last few months all of which have been above prior years.
